Just put on my a Armondo oil-pan, and had a minor drip around the plug. The flat brass washer that came with the plug didnt do the trick. (and I undfortunately may have tweaked it a bit too much.......kinda suprised actually as I didnt dog it on).

THE FIX........ Used a old-school plastic oilnut washer on the nut, along with a small 1/2" O-ring before it (not a rubber washer, but rubber O-Ring). It seems that this pan plug opening is not flush so, the O-Ring takes up that space nicely.

I might suggest this FIRST before you try what I had done. (trust me I didnt put that much pressure on the nut to start with, but also was not going to remove the pan either).

John........... I had my x-member out. (Did that little over 1.5yr ago to fix some small oil drips). This was to replace my orig pan with the new one.

BTW....... I used a small rt angle air/die grinder with a cutoff wheel.

**IMPORTANT** If you decided to replace the x-member with a removable, BEFORE you loosen any of the lower A-ARM nuts (the front/rear), take weight off the wheels.
