Kim, a call to Altec Lansing, or to an Altec Lansing retailer, like the folks you purchased the speaker system from, should clear that up. Its one of those little black power supplies you plug into the wall outlet that has a cord with a mini banana plug on it's end. It shouldn't be hard to find, but I can't tell you over the internet which one.

Are you aware this is a bulletin board for deTomaso Automobile enthusiasts? We don't get many questions about computer problems here. Don't be embarrassed though, always glad to try to help when we can.

Your friend on the DTBB, George

You should be able to find the plug your looking for at the electronic's store. You'll be looking for a 120vac(wall plug) tranformer to the 15vdc plug. On round (EIAJ type 12345)plugs the center is positive. There are many type's and size's of plugs, take the speaker with you. If you dont find a 15 volt output,,, 12 to 18 volts output should work too. Here are some links to ac/dc stuff.

Does anyone know if I start my car, don't turn on the radio but I use a meat thermometer to read my coolat temperature, if I should turn left or right at the next intersection? Anybody?

Doug,

I'm not sure about that. I believe you need to use a candy, not a meat, thermometer. I do know that although two wrongs don't make a right, three lefts do.
