Engine mounts

I am in the process of reasembling my car, and did not make a note of which of the engine mounts (to chassis) go on which side.(parts 6031 and 6030) The "center" hole is not in center, and I wonder is this hole to be towards the front of the car.
I hope to avoid having to try to install the engine to find out.
