My 72 Front fenders look like they are attached to the windshield post. how do fenders come off? If need be.

The fenders are basically "seam" welded.
They are not pseudo-spot welded or bolted on like most USA cars.
So, removal and replaceme takes hours to align and fully weld.

No, and yes. Yes they are not bolted on. But in the repair process on 2511 it became apparent that dozens of spot welds were what held on the fender that was replaced. Now being De Tomaso, assembly techniques could have changed from or to full seam welding. Check my webshot photos (link below) to see photos of the repairs where the spot welds are clearly seen. And note the fender does not wrap forward and under the car - that is a separate piece.
