I noticed my dome light flickering while the car was at idle. What's up with that?

...Sounds like one of the 'Push' switches at each door closer, near the hinges, is grounding out, without the door being open. You can pull the switch out after removing a single sheetmetal screw...
...when you open A/Any door the switch grounds the negative wire and the dome light comes ON. That wire goes up inside the Passenger side 'A' Pillar. If that wire has chafed and is grounding out, this would also cause the light to flicker...
