Are you sure your car had 7 & 8" wheels from factory? If you are not concerned with originality why not source an aftermarket set of wheels that fill the wheel arch more fully? The vendors all sell Campi clones in modern 17" wheel sizing, that or find a set of the elusive 10" Campi rears. In fact the latter is still probably the cheapest and preferred option IMO.

Hello Julian, I am not normally a stickler for originality, but would stick with the wheels that are fitted rather than change them. Unless a pair of 10" Campagnolo wheels could be found at a reasonable cost, I could then fit the 8" rears to the front of the car. Latest info on delivery received this evening is ETA 9th Jan!! so another week to go. I have just read a pant era book by Jan P Norbye, can you recommend other books that would be of good historical interest to a newcomer to De Tomaso cars.
best Peter
