Fuse Box Conversion

Coz, the panel used by Bob Timma is a great set up. i believe it's from an 86 Mittsibishi. You may be able to get Bob's email from some one on the BB. He's living in New Mexico now. He was selling the kit.

I heard he has made them and they were very good and was selling them for under 100.00 vs Stocks at 300.00. But I haven't been able to find any info on locating Bob.

I picked up a used fuse box from JohnnyAlki and was lookig at doing the Larry Stock type conversion myself; it just entails some raw blade type fuse holders, soldering and an epoxy coating, but if Bob's is as good as people say I may go that route and take out the time and hassle factor.

He makes 2 different types. One is the standard replacement for the fuse box we have now. Pretty much plug and play in the same location. No lengthening of wires....everything is done and ready for the conversion.
1 wire at a time, everything is labled on his fuse box and he sends a full color chart. He has also broken down a few of the circuits so there isn't so much draw on anyone circuit and routed them to seperate fuses. It will hold the the 14 fuses which is really great considing I have 2 more than a stock Pantera fuse box. He also told me to call him if I have any questions during the conversion and he would be more than willing to help me through it if I need any help. Very cool...What a nice guy Bob is. I think he's going to Vegas this year, at least he's planning on it. I look forward to meeting him.

The second one he has is the fuse box with relays for the headlights and radiator fans. This one is 275.00. I didn't need this one since I have already installed relays for my headlights and fans and their doing fine.

For the 125.00 it's well worth the cost to avoid the time and hassle of doing it yourself or paying 300.00 for Stocks, not to mention the postage I'm sure Stock would charge to send it.

What a breath of fresh air that he's doing this without the need of making a killing $$$ wise.

Hey Coz, timing is everything. I have seen Bob's car when he lived in Mich. and the fuse box is first class. Good luck with your installation. I am going to order one for myself.

As an alternative, Panteras East, offers a kit which has 22 circuits and 3 relays. I believe that this is a Nissan piece. I bought that and will be installing it in my car this spring.

What's his price from them ?

I think Bob makes them for Pantera East, so they are the same unit.

I have one on order from Bob too.

No, I ended up selling the car before I got around to putting it in. But I kept it for the next Pantera I get....:-)

Here's the Pantera East (AKA Bob Timma) version, available with and without the relays. I have a photo of Larry's somewhere, I just can't find it, it may be on the work computer in which case I'll post in the AM.

Larry Stock's - Pantera Parts Connection - fuse box is a stock box that has newer style fuse receptacles epoxied in place of the original fuses.

Same # and layout of fuses, just upgraded. A true plug and play, no modifications needed.
