My grille emblem was lookin quite rough......I stripped it in the blast cabinet and got out the little paint brushes. About 3 days later it was ready for 6 coats of urethane clear. Turned out better than I thought it would. Material cost, next to nothing. Labor time, no....its called "Pantera Time"

Thanks everyone for the compliments !! I stripped it with plain old white silica sand, holding the gun back a ways. Put one coat of etch primer on. My car is @ grabber blue so I sprayed that on the whole thing. Then using a very small brush, apply the white. Then black down in the grooves and finally silver on the top raised parts. Then go back and touch up the places where its not to your liking. I let each color dry over night. Clear coat the hell out of it......This was a 1972 emblem. Its stamped from the back to raise the parts up on the front side. I guess they are all made the same, but im not sure. Give it a shot, Its not too hard............
