Hall door handle springs? | The De Tomaso Forums

Anyone used the door handle springs Hall offers. I'm replacing my tubs with the PI units, they are nice by the way. One of my original springs broke and the other may not be in all that good of shape. I ordered a set of the Hall springs but they seem very strong. I'm not sure how I'll get them in place. I'm also worried they'll damage the new tubs. Anyone know if Wilkinson has OEM springs?

I thought I would answere my own post to maybe help someone in the future. I found the Hall springs to be too strong for my liking and worried about them breaking the new tubs. I found that by moving the fixed end of the spring back to the next cavity inthe tub the tension was acceptable. Then I fashioned little stainless tabs for it to rest on to further protect the plastic tub. See below.
