I'd read your piece in the last PI mag.,
you had talked about the tube and stick for
an 8qt. pan , any advice on a 10qt?
Don't want to run around with 8qts. or 12qts.

There was a typo in that PI article- I apologise. The dipstick length should be 38.0 inches per TSP bulletin 5, Article 34. Some '10' qt pans actually hold about 8-1/2 qts plus whaterver filter(s) you have. The pan depth is the key, and all pans that I know of are the same depth- their extra oil volume comes from their added length back toward the crossmember, so the same dipstick will work.
