cannot believe that in a +300hp car you can feel the difference of a A/C working or not...

1) normaly in that kind of hot weather we already lose HP at the carb inlet due air density beeing less then cold air

2) ok, sure check your alternator, those fans take some amps so that your ignition isn't starving from it ... That you would feel !

Dunno, but remember to compare it to driving with the windows down, that adds drag. Main problem is probably the weight.
