Does anyone still use the ac idler pulley or has anyone used a different idler setup?? I've just been using the very limited slots in the mounting plate but would like a better tensioning method. Thanks, Glenn
I don't know about the Windsor, but when the bearing in the idler pulley on my Cleveland went out one of the vendors told me to yank it altogether. I'm able to adjust belt tension using the slots in the compressor (rotary type) mounting plate.
Thanks, Garth that is what I've been doing. Selecting a belt that's just enough to work over the pully then about a half inch of movement does work. Just didn't know if there was a better way.
