I was looking through the photos I have. I don't have any detailed shots inside the cabin.

I did find this underside pic. would the seat track nuts be the red arrows? would the seat belt anchors be in the blue square, but on the inside?

I'll look at mine tomorrow, but I need to know what I am looking for. If I see them, I'll photo and get dimesnions from seat track nuts

Hi Bill. When a custom dropped pan is installed, the dimensions of the pan are barely enough for the seat without adjusters. Seat-rails raise the seat(s) up by a few inches, removing some of the headroom gained from dropping the pan. So rails aren't included. If the stamped-in crossmember in the pan just in front of the seat is cut to use rails, the monococque may be weakened with very little fore/aft seat adjustment gained. Easier for you to add seat-BACK adjustment so the rake can be adjusted. This is simply done by slotting the seat-back tabs and using hand knobs on the metric allen bolts. Only works with stock ('71-72) removeable-back seats, though. I'm 6'2" & with stock pans & raked seats, I clear our roof wearing a helmet.
On my particular drop pan, there is sufficient room for the seat and the adjustment rails. Height of the seat is not a problem. My problem is that I am trying to position the seat in a position that approximates the lateral position of the original seat ('72 Pre-L), so that the seat is in the correct position as it relates to the location of the steering wheel. Right now, the driver's seat is very close to the console with a lot of room between the left side of the seat and the left inside rocker. I know this space will vary depending on what seats are used, but I am more interested in the dimension of the space between the left inside rocker and the left side of the seat. I was hoping to find out what the right rear driver's seat track bolt location was so that I could use it as a reference point for me to help me place the seat in its correct lateral position.

Thanks!
Bill
G-Bill, some owners that aren't afraid to modify their cars to their liking intentionally reposition the driver's seat further toward the center, so as to minimize the factory sideways-offset between seat & pedals/steering wheel. When the Pantera first came out, some magazine-hero-testers complained about the slight upper body twist forced upon them by the stock seat position. Most owners don't even notice it after a week.
Friends,

Every car I have looked at has racing harnesses. I am hoping since everyone took their belts out they must be hiding somewhere. Hall has a set but for 72-74 I will need the early ones from 71-72. Also is there a source for the triangular plastic piece that fits over the belt bolt?

Thanks in advance for any tips. BTW there is a set on ebay right now but they look pretty bad. I will pay a fair price for some in great shape!

Rob
