I'm curious to know if anyone out there has any quarter mile times and speeds. Either G-Tech or drag strip.

I would like to know if I should expect to be able to run with the Viper GTS and the new C-6 Corvettes? I am planning to make around 500 horsepower. (I hope!)

I don't see much about this. Just wondering.

I have an 1/8 mile time slip some where I'll try to find. It was 8.x seconds doing 8x mph in the 1/8 but I don't remember exactly. I am about 300 rwhp but soon to swap to a stroker 400 with more. I should have some numbers from that too but it will be next year some time.

The pantera launches breat with all the weight in the back and large tires. I had great 60ft times.

I've got some quarter mile times but you need to consider that I'm a horrible drag racer. About a month ago my car was doing very high 12s and very lows 13s with a trap time about 108. I think my 60 ft times were right around 2 seconds or a little more. I have the timing slips somewhere. The temperature was in the high 80's. My dyno slip show 335 hp at the wheels. I thought the correction factor for the ZF and everything else translates to 20% to 22% to figure out your HP at the flywheel. Some one on the board will know for sure. Vince
Vince,

You're very close at 20%. Whenever I see actual back to back engine verses chassis dyno numbers for the same Pantera, the math always works out to 19%. Rounding to 20% gives a good fudge factor.

19% power losses through the drive line is one of the reasons the mid engine layout is superior for sports cars.

My Pantera was at 135mph when I passed a new C6 Vette on the Interstate that a guy and his girlfriend had just picked up at the factory in Bowling Green Kentucky three days ago! They both did a major head jerk! I'll G-meter the car and let you know the 1/4 times. I just bought it and need to mechanically check it first. OK, I know this is irresponsible but I'm Italian!
