Congrats!

I remember when my son was born like it was yesterday. Now all his friends keep asking me when he gets to drive the Pantera. roll on floor

Cherish the days ahead. They will pass too quickly. I still think of my family as a "young family," except we get college recruiting letters every week for two of my kids. I still can't believe I have two driving and starting to look at universities. Eeker
Thanks guys!! It's a girl 8lbs 10 oz and 21". I just got home and am shot....was thinking of naming her Cassandra but I think my wife nixed that idea so I gotta sleep on a new name....I'm all ears BTW. It would have been easier if it was a boy as I would have named it after my dad whose name is Dino LOL. I know wrong forum haha. Once again many thanks, you guys are great! I'm still in shock over what I witnessed, now I know why men die before women, it's payback!! I would have pulled the trigger if that were me!
Congratulations again! Almost 9lbs, that's a good solid baby! "I'm still in shock over what I witnessed..." - welcome to the club, it's both shocking and humbling applause

As for names:
If you want to go with a Pantera related name, in Gone in 60 seconds the cat was called 'Maxine' in the '74 movie, and 'Kate' in the more recent release.

Finally, a piece of advice - for the foreseeable future, anytime your wife asks you for anything, no matter how unreasonable it may seem, think back to what she's just been through, and quickly say 'Yes Dear' - if you have a few days before she comes home from hospital, use the time to practice.

roll on floor Hahaha! When our daughter's were born, it quickly became apparent that I would have no say in naming them... Every time I suggested a name my wife accused me of the name being an old GF's name - can I help it if she left a favorable impression?! So I only got veto rights if a name she suggested was distasteful to me. Good luck!
Congrats Harry! Your life will be forever changed now - For the better! Believe what Pantera 4134 just said,it will be a blur and that new baby will be all grown up & leaving home. My 32 year old son & his wife have blessed us with 4 grandchildren & they are already growing up too FAST. Guess that just goes to show how old I'm getting Frowner But, as long as I can still jump in the Pantera and harass the populace around here I still feel like an 18 year old Big Grin GOOD LUCK.
