I bought some couple years ago, tried them, they sucked. Got some bigger ones from Super Bright, they also were not as bright as the incandescent.

I bought a pair of LED stop / tail lights bulbs. They looked really nice with just the tail lights on, but when I put the brake on, they only got slightly brighter. Not safe at all. It's a shame because this design has LEDs pointing towards the reflector as well as straight back. They will get it right at some point I am sure.

Superbright looks like a great source.

I'm quite happy with the LED set that I got from the Space City Pantera club guys. I added a 40 LED third brake light under my "sugar scoop". Can't hardly see it until you step on the brake and then it's like getting stabbed in the eye with an optical fork.

The bulbs I was looking to cross reference are for the set of Larry Finches two color front markers I'm trying to fit into my budget.
