Yea, been thinking about that too.
It's always been my favorite, long before and after the Pantera.

I can see parking them both in the garage. (Wife's car has been already trained that it's an outside car)

Well Dennis, I don't know if anyone else has ever thought of this or not, but they made so darn few Mangustas, they are always gonna be expensive. Now if you were to take one of your many Panteras and convert it too look like a mangusta, that would be cool. You would just remove thefront bumpers and put four headlights in where they went. Remove the rear trunk lid and make a clam shell trunk that pivots open in the middle. No one will be able to tell the differance. You will have a magusta that actualy runs and handles better than the original.
Well I thought I had one. A guy in Arizona emails me with one for sale. I called him an it sounded good. I made arrangements to have it looked at the next morning and he emails me that he changed his mind and decided to keep the car. I wish people would make their decisions before making contact with people purporting to sell it.

The hunt goes on . . .

Hi Dennis,

Was it this one? I tried contacting the guy several times and got no response. Part of me wants to get one before they become like Miuras and I can never afford one. Then again, if I wait long enough I will be able to afford one because all the people who have money will be buying mint vintage Civic Si's and will have never heard of a Mangusta. But do I really want to wait another 20 years...? Smiler
