pantera fuel tanks

My question is concerning a 1972 pantera that has a leaking fuel tank, what would the procedure be in order to remove the fuel tank ( do i have to remove body panels or remove engine), and if southern used tanks are available, who could I contact for a tank.

I would very carefully examine the leak; if it's only a pinhole, you may be able to screw a sheetmetal screw thru the pinhole, and cover the screwhead with ordinary Bondo, which is surprisingly fuel-proof & adheres well to bare steel. Any other sized hole will IMHO require tank removal. My tank pickedvup a pinhole dent which then cracked, and I repaired it that way- in 1998. Still holding-
