I just talked to a man with a '72 Pantera with a GT5 body kit installed, but no trans. If I were to grab this car (assuming everything else is there as he said), what would a ZF cost, and where could I get one?

If you're talking to the guy in Mission Viejo, I'm in the area, and could look at it for you.
I think that's the one. White body. I didn't get much more info because he was in a hurry. He said the ZF was all that it needed, but I didn't really know what questions to ask.

Can you email me, and we can work something out. I actually called the seller a couple weeks ago, and mentioned I might look at it for another guy (the other guy lost interest before I looked at the car) The seller didn't seem to want me to come by until he had talked to the actual perspective buyer.
If you can talk to the seller and tell him I will look at it for you, then I can call the seller, and set up a time.
