Modified version of the Gurney chute. Not too many cars have it as it requires some custom fabrication. And, it obviously requires stripping down the hood, welding, etc etc.

Halls hood, as I remember has angular vents rather then...rectangular.
Well he didn't really offer a hood, just the scoops that "you" have to install.
I personally like the Lambo grills better.

I like this hood better than Hibachi style vents.
Me too ... simulates the 1967 / 68 GT Mustang Hood scoops.
I got it from a Mormon Preacher in SD. It's fiberglass and fit "perfectly" from day 1.
The Preacher stripped and painted it for me and I used it to save wear & tear on the original hood...for a solo run from San Diego to Pensacola, Fl. (36 hours 15 minutes).
A month later, I lost the original hood in a house fire...so this one stays!

Ps-I tought I heard it was a Long&Newman hood for a "racing Pantera".

A Texas owner has a fiberglass hood on his yellow Pantera, from what I can tell it looks like the identical hood, he refers to his as a "Long & Newman" hood.
The slots are purely cosmetic by the way, however I hear they're worth 10 MPH & 2 seconds/lap in a bench racing session.

They improve the drag coefficient, gets another 12.5mph

I am the only one I know that has these kinda slots. I showed them to another Pantera owner and he thought a previous owner may have put them in that way, but says they did a really good job.
