HI. Has anyone had any experience's installing a FLUIDYNE [direct fit] radiator?
1] Mounting tab's not lining up correctly?
[left side app 5/8th. r/ side app. 13/16 off] radiator tab's to high]
2] light hood contact with the center hood
frame to radiator?
The radiator is seated all the way down as it should be.
Contacted the PANTERA vendor that i bought it from and he confirm's radiator is the correct one. I have owned the car for 15 year's and know it's history from new
[never hit]
ANY SUGGESTION'S / INFORMATION FROM ANY ONE WHO HAS OR HAS RUN INTO THESE PROBLEM'S IN THE PAST GREATLY APPRECIATED. MODIFICATION'S ETC.
THANK YOU. JOHN K.

John, are you trying to mount the rad straight up or inclined fwd? There are straps that extend from the stock mounts to the rad in the inclined position, and they may well be individual. Another thing that sometimes happens is a minor front-end accident bends the front sheet metal and the two rad mount brackets on the crossmember then are slightly misaligned as well as maybe the upper bolt holes. CAREFUL hammer-work or a hydraulic jack will depress the lower brackets (in your case, more on one side than the other) for clearance to the hood- but be careful. It is possible to crack the bracket-welds with overly-aggressive force, and then you'll need a welder to fix things

I installed a Fluidyne direct fit radiator last year. It works great. When I installed it I had to elongate the mounting holes to align them correctly. There was no clearance issues though. Make absolutely sure it is sitting as low as possible. There should be 2 locating pins on the bottom corners of the radiator that fit into matching holes on your car. BTW I also have a cover that fits over the radiator without a problem.
I am mounting the radiator in the original position. The radiator is seated all the way down into the guide bushing's all bushing's are also new. The hole's in the body side bracket's
are lined up with the hole's in the radiator
mounting bracket's but the bracket's on the radiator [side] need to be lowered to line up the mounting screw's. They are way to far off to elongate the hole's if i did this i would be completely out of the bracket.
