Jeff, I'm in Michigan too. I personally love the snow, but I hate the stupid drivers. Took me over two hours to get home from work, it normally take me about an hour. I even left before rush-hour. It seems like in this state 95% of the drivers forget how to drive everytime it snows, rains, etc..., then they have to learn all over again (during rush hour!!!). Some of these people don't deserve a license. Sorry, sometimes I just have to vent);-)
Yeah... we had snow in Fillmore too.

Well, not exactly IN Fillmore. LOL ..... Big Grin

Its not unusual for winter storms to leave snow on the mountains north of town. It creates a dramatic back drop to the palm trees and blue skies. That picture was taken last Saturday, the temp was 75 degrees F, there was a gentle ocean breeze, clean air.

Hate this winter weather ... LOL dancing

This is California? Can't you guys afford trees? I thought it was a picture of Iraq?
Jeff and Wish'n,

I too am in Michigan and the 2+ hour drive home (Auburn Hills to St Clair Shores) was quite fun to say the least.

Actually the drive this morning was worse, shorter in time, but a total sheet of GLASS. Of course people had to go 65+ on I-75 while the cars in front of them were spinning out.

More snow Friday night!

I "kind of" miss the old days when I was growing up in upstate NY with the beautiful snow and changing seasons. It was always a thrill drinking as a teen, driving late nite in the snow and coming up on a stop light where there is absolutely nothing you can do except slide right through it...brakes don't work in that stuff! Thanks for the memories.
