Wanted: Hall IDA (Weber)

There was discussion just today on the Detomaso e-mail list about an EFI project, where someone has cast a number of IR intakes using the weber as a pattern. They have also cast injector bosses into them so you can go throttle body injection or direct. I suggest you repost your 'want' on the e-mail list or use the PCNC website search page to search the detomaso e-mail list for more information and leads. Unfortuantely I always delete the list e-mail summary after reading it.

He has them already made with the injector bosses.

I traded emails with Don today. He's looking for a "Hall" 4V intake. My lid is for high ports and doesn't have enough stock in the floor to be ported to match a standard 4V port. He has 4V heads on a 9.2 Cleveland block. Anyone know who the tooling ended up with and who's making the Hall intake now? Are the vendors offering them?

Hall still has two versions of this manifold available. $600 for the iron head big port and $650 for the A3.

You could rifle drill either one and weld on FI bungs. The throttle linkage tower is even right for a Pantera.

Hall Pantera for the Hall intake. Why didn't I think of that?

I thought I heard rumors that Hall didn't off the intake any more. Please let us know what you find out Don.

Heck Gary, I would leave them that color. With all the money you spent on them you want them to stand out. SOrt of like grab the innocent bystander and slap him silly kinda color.

I am thinking about just glass blasting them and clear coating them; or body color. We'll see when the time comes. I will probably cut and weld the intake so I don't have to use spacers on the 400.

I have one for sale. Polished, but not recently! It has the Nitros bosses drilled, so you may want to put plugs in those...or then again...Nitros jets would still fit!
