We tested out our brakes and shocks today.

Wow! We haven't taken the proportional valve out in the front yet and the car stops on a dime. With it out, the braking will be insane. We can lock up the backs on medium braking. 

If anyone is interested in a VERY affordable brake kit that is superior to any other brake kit on the market, let us know. On our car, we have our 6 Piston kit all the way around with 14 inch vented and cross drilled rotors in the front and 13 inch vented and cross drilled rotors in the back. This kit will be perfect for 18 inch wheels and up.

We will be offering two kits. For you performance junkies out there, we will have our 6 piston kit mentioned above that has AMAZING stopping power... This is going to get you the best performance available at an unbelievable price. We will also be offering a more affordable kit that has 4 piston calipers all around.

And for those of you with smaller size wheels, we will have a build your own brake kit. You will be able to choose the rotors you want and the calipers you want.

As always, SACC Restorations will offer these kits at afforadable prices. While we aren't ready to release our final pricing yet, we can tell you that our 6 piston kit will be more affordable then our competitors 4 piston kit.

A nice feature of our kit as well is that our hats are mounted inboard of the hub, just like the OEM hats which gives you the advantage of not having to change your offset of your wheel.

Our Electronically Adjustable Shocks are also great. When it's in Comfort mode, it's soft, but stiff enough that the body roll isn't bad. It is a very comfortable ride.

Now once we get into Sport mode is where it starts to get fun. In Sport mode, you can do a tight corner and keep the car relatively level with absolutely no body roll whatsoever.

These shocks are one of the best investments on your Pantera that you can make.

Drove the car again this weekend.

The shocks are great!!! In sport mode, there is no body roll at all. We took a 15 mph 90 degree turn at 40! No rubbing at all.

The electronic kit is a must for a car that is often tracked but still driven on the street. You get the best performance on street and on the track. A fellow member on the forum purchased our electronic shocks and is very pleased with them for his track experiences.

Our brakes are all broken in as well. To stop all we have to do is just blow on the pedal. Wink lol.

We're getting closer to being able to offer our affordable brake kit.

These shocks are really great. We are so excited to be offering these shocks to the Pantera community.

These shocks are made by RideTech with a joint venture with Fox Racing Shocks and Delphi. This is the same technology that is in the current Z06 Corvette.

What is so cool about these shocks is that when your on the street in comfort mode, it is a very soft ride. As the name implys, it is a very comfortable ride, but still performs well. But once you hit that sport mode button, be ready to hit the corners. The car corners so incredibly well in sport mode it's unbelievable. Plus, they look pretty damn cool Wink

Usually the rule of thumb in a Pantera is you can double the posted, suggested speed of a turn. Well we did a 15 mph turn at 40. It was an amazing feeling.

You won't be disappointed with that kit. We are currently setting up pricing and will get you a quote within the next few days. These Wilwood brakes, in our opinion, are the best braking for the money.

We also have had our mirrors on the car for about a month now, and wow. They look better and better every time we see the car. Smiler And the viewing angle out of it is amazing. We literally have zero blindspots. Our small wiring harness for the switch makes for very easy wiring.

The shocks also give you great handling with a lot of adjustment. They have 26 clicks of adjustment for dampening. These shocks are perfect for those of you who want great performance out of the box, but also want room for customizing your handling.

Here at SACC Restorations, we don't believe one kit fits all. With that in mind, we will build a custom kit for any of you with smaller (15" or 16") or even bigger (20+) wheels. They are totally built to order with every option...

Introducing the Pantera Deluxe Performance Brake Kit.

Featuring Wilwood Calipers, Rotors, Hats, and Pads.

Rotors:
These Black Electro-coated, Cross-drilled and Vented Rotors are 13" in diameter. When they are bedded in, the black coating only shows in the holes and vents offering a very nice contrast between the natural finish of the steel and the black coating.

Hats:
These Aluminum Hats are designed the way the Pantera meant them to be. These hats are mounted inside the hub, just like stock. Unlike other brake kits, this setup will not change your wheel offset at all.

Calipers:
This kit includes 6 piston black calipers in the front and 4 piston black calipers in the rear. This offers the best performance braking at an affordable price.

Pads:

We use the stock rear brake caliper for the emergency brake. We can include a bracket which will mount that caliper opposite the Wilwood caliper. This saves money over the billet emergency brakes some place sell.

When it is powder coated red, it offers a very cool looking emergency brake.
