I have been a little busy the last 9 months. I took it on to install a 4.6 into a friends Pantara. We used an engine from a Mark VIII and installed a supercharger. I built everything needed for the install and did all the mods including building an intake manifold. The only part we did buy were the headers. I will later be posting more details on my web page.

Looks like it fits OK up front! Any fitment issues with the Supercharger? How about AC pump? I bet we're all interested in this one.
More info please!

The engine I used was from a 98 Mark so it has the B heads or same as first N/A Cobra. Different cams though.

The supercharger is from a T-Bird Super Coupe and is an Eaton M90. Got it off E-Bay.

To get the supercharger to fit I had to make a custom box intake out of aluminum plate and then move the engine back 1 1/4 inch in the frame so that I had about 1/2 inch clearance between the supercharger pulley and the back window. It was a trick.

All other stuff I fabricated. I used steel plate and made motormounts to use the stock Pantera rubber pucks which holds the engine solid. I also made brackets to mount the AC and Alternator to the side. The A/C compressor is a Sanken 507 which is slightly shorter than a 508.

I will post a web site as soon as I can get the story written up.

I am using the stock Ford ECM and have bought he software and tools to program it. So if anyone else is interested in installing a Modular motor, I can make chips and flash files.

The car runs pretty good. Punching it in 1st gear from a roll will slightly spin the tires with 5.5 psi boost. Pulls strong to 6800 rpm. Did a comparison to another Pantera this weekend and even without being tuned yet, it will pull away from a Cleveland rated at 340 RWHP. Once I get it tuned I will get a dyno reading.
