Not for my car (will need to save up a bit first for the doors but will order a lid like this this winter) but for a car being restored and taken to a little bit of a different level than most others I guess. More info to come when car is done...

Autoclave baked carbon doors. 2 kg or 4 lbs..
Rear lid 3 kg or 6 lbs..
Front lid 1,5 kg or less than 3 lbs..

Wow, I know a guy doing a custom carbon fiber GT5S style flare car, may be interested in those doors too so the car comes in light as a feather with aluminum block to boot!

They are not cheap, but there is no need for carbon over fiberglass that is quite heavy, when you can have these absolute top of the line race-quality parts that really saves weight where it is most needed.

There is a built in translator function. Around $13,000 for hoods, in various vent configurations. Around $19,000 for a deck lid (one option includes a large front opening) or a delta wing.

It would be great to be able to purchase some of these 100% carbon fiber items in the US. Unfortunately, I think the logistics and cost to ship here would be enormous.

The prices quoted are in line with current US prices for lesser quality carbon covered fiberglass units and I'd be willing to bet there would be enough interest in true Carbon pieces to get together a group buy and bulk shipping.

Does that door take all stock hardware, glass etc. or will custom have to be fabricated?

That door is ment for race, with plastic windows with sliding opening. With a little custom work I guess You could put in the stock pieces.
