Factory Yellow?

71 & 72 had Yellow DuPont 38807L (lacquer?)

72—74 had same (less the L) and a golden yellow 43749 for the GTS only.

I thought the color was called FLY Yellow?

I think "Fly Yellow" was the name given to Ferrari's bright yellow, but I don't recall which years or models. None of the original Pantera yellows were called Fly Yellow.

My understanding is that "FLY" yellow means Ferrari Light Yellow if this helps at all

I think it is called Pantera Yellow. I know there are two reds. Pantera Red #1 and Pantera Red #2.
Detomaso didn't steal colors. He had his own blended.
I suppose if there was a black it would have been Pantera black.
Manybe that's why there wasn't any. He couldn't blend his own?

Later years had a stock Black color. I like Pantera black.
