Dougal, here's the run down on Pantera tires & wheels:

In the rear

(1) The 13" wide wheels found on wide body GT4/GT5/GT5S Panteras were equipped with 345/35R15 tires

(2) the 10" wheels found on narrow body GTS Panteras were equipped with 285/50R15 tires.

(3) The 8" wide wheels found on other narrow body Panteras were equipped with 215/70R15 or H60-15 tires. Generally in this day owners with Panteras equipped with the 8" rear wheels look for tires that have an 8" tread and are about 26.7" diameter ... thereabouts.

Up front

(1) The 10" wide wheels found on wide body GT4/GT5/GT5S Panteras were equipped with 285/40R15 tires.

(2) The 8" wheels found on narrow body GTS Panteras were equipped with 225/50R15 tires

(3) The 7" wheels found on other narrow body Panteras were equipped with 185/70R15 or C60-15 tires. Generally in this day owners with Panteras equipped with 7" front wheels look for tires that have an 7" tread and are about 25" diameter ... again thereabouts.

The rear tires you have available are suitable for the wide body Panteras, but the front tires you have available are suitable for the GTS or other narrow body models retro-fitted with 8" front wheels.

I normally don't approve membership for people with a web address as their member name or signature line, but I saw you were a tire (tyre Smiler ) vendor and suspected you might have something to offer that the members would find valuable. The back tires you have for sale are especially difficult to find. I hope some of the guys take advantage of this opportunity.

good luck

The Pantera hobby has been in need for decades of a reliable source for 15" tires in two size pairings:

345/35R15 rear and 285/40R15 front for the wide body models (GT4/GT5/GT5S)

285/50R15 rear and 225/50R15 front for the GTS and other narrow body models

Any business that could relaibly stock these tires and sell them for a fair price would find themselves a niche market of loyal customers and regular sales. There are quite a few Panteras still on the road. Coker tire in the US has been indifferent to our needs. Many owners who would prefer the original wheels & tires have had no choice other than to upgrade to larger diameter wheels & tires in order to avoid the difficult situation that exists in acquiring the 15" tires.
And it is not just Pantera owners. I went to a British car show last weekend and strolled by the Cobra display. Most of the Cobras were reproductions, but even those wore 15" tires, usually the same size as narrow body Panteras, at least on the rear.

The cars were using a variety of different manufacturer's tires, often on the same car.

Whatever they could find that fit, they used on their cars.
On the Pantera rear with optional 10"x 15" Campys, we need very specific tires: 295-50 or 305x 15", 26-1/2" or 27" OD (so the speedometer is accurate), with a DOT 'speed rating' of V (149+), W(168) or Z(in excess of 187). In the front with 8" x 15" Campys, we need 245-50x 15s with the same speed ratings. Most of the go-fasters do not care if the tread pattern matches front-to-rear. If Mangustas are equipped with the newly available 10" rear wheels from England, they could use the same tires, as could many models of Corvette and Porsches from the '70s and '80s.
There are non-speed-rated tires available that are good for around town use, but not for driving a Pantera as it was made to be driven. They are also not legal for high speed open road events in the U.S, and some are not DOT street legal. New-but-rarely-available Pirelli P7-Rs from Turkey in 295-50x 15" (W-rated) will fit the 10" rears but are so seldom available as to be useless.
