The ad says "super rare" .. which is correct since batteries have been sealed since old rover was a puppy.

Waste of money IMO

If I had a 100% original restored car (like Dean Wilkie's), I could see the justification of paying through the nose, when concours points count. IMHO, I'd rather use a Optima yellow top, and take the 2-point deduction.

He even wants the 15 bucks for shipping...lol...

I bid $30 for 6 genuine arm rest bungs last week...I was glad I did'nt win the auction though..Hall Pantera sell them for $6 each...the must cost 1c to make ....I'd sooner have the holes than pay that much...

Bob Perkins is a very well know Mustang and Shelby restorer.

If these were Shelby parts they would probably be worth a couple of thousand dollars?

It just goes to show that there is very little interest in "assembly line original Panteras" anywhere.

I think we're close to turning the corner as far as interest/prices on original or slightly modified Panteras. The Mangusta guys had it right; they wouldn't be bringing $200,000 to $300,000+ these days if they had cut them up or started slapping different engines in them to "fit their tastes".

Someone needs to mold on some fender flares & throw on a tunnel ram and a set of cherry bombs on a Bizzarrini if you don't think modifying a classic hybrid sports car hurts their value.

I have to agree... I think we are turning a corner. As the values continue to go up, originality will matter.
