Just posted a lengthy text, attached a picture, got a warning that the picture was too big, clicked on the go back option, and my text was gone. How stupid is that? I simply don't have the energy to write it again...
Sorry we're missing out on what you had to post. The same has happened to me, several times. Now I make a habit of copying all the text on lengthy posts before hitting the 'post now' button, just in case.

Now I type long posts in a simple text editor (or sometimes my e-mail program) and THEN paste it into the "Post" window. I do this partly because I type so slow and want to read what I wrote to make sure it is not gibberish before I post it.
The good news is that it only happens to you once.
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
