1978 Daytona 24hrs. Pantera (and a Datsun 260Z)

Scroll down to 24th place in the link below for my Daytona ride in the Bondurant Datsun 260Z #91.A really fun race, with no lighting anywhere, except in the pits, and no chicanes either in that looonnng back straight alongside Lake Lloyd.
You'll have to scroll way down to "did not start" to see Hugh Kleinpeter's Pantera that tried. He howled past me during qualifyng way up high on the banking in 935 territory, making me proud, but a couple of laps later, it was stranded in the infield with smoke and steam coming from every orifice, and I never saw it again......Until Sebring....Which is another story...
