Be advised that your '72 car's engine was probably made the year before the car was; ('71). From the book "How to rebuild Ford V-8 engines" Here are the specs for the 71-72 351C: All Pantera 351C's had 4V heads. Lift at valve, .427 Int., .427 Ex. "Open" Combustion Chamber Volume 75.4CC. Compression ratio 9.0:1 Valve Head Dia.= Int. 2.190" Ex. 1.710" Cam Duration? From 280 to 290 Degrees (total)(advertised). Regards, Marlin. P.S. I don,t call them "Motors"! Because they are "INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES"!!!!
