Thanks, I'm planning on maintaining it as close to original as possible. Not a daily driver, but do plan on getting it out and enjoying it pretty often. Have been looking seriously for over 2 years - have always wanted one and found this one less than 25 miles from my house!
Hey just noticed this! Nice job. Glad to have another Pantera in Alabama. Another just landed in Millbrook (north of Montgomery) so this is a regular deluge!

If you ever get to Montgomery area, let me know with a PM and we'll get together.

Very original looking car. Is your toolkit complete? What projects do you have planned?

Thanks, I will. I got the dealer specialty Rotunda toolkit in the big gray plastic box (the previous owner was Dan Wachtel who owned a Ford Dealership in Athens, AL).

I have already replaced the seat upholstery on the driver side where is was worn through. Replaced a few gauges, and am about to replace the voltage regulator. Can I get to this from the engine compartment or do I need to remove the access cover behind the seats?
Congtats!! Great car!!

The voltage regulator can be replaced from under the car. Are you replacing it due to an erratic ammeter needle? If so, there may be a loose connection(s) at the back of the ammeter.

Here's a link to the ammeter:
