The Mk1 I am now advised is 68-77, but the 68-70 are different, so which column is which is still confused to me. I didn't know those variations existed.

I do know that as used in the Pantera, it is a modified part. It has been shortened and a mounting bracket for the ignition switch enclosure has been added to it.

At the moment, I don't remember what they did to add on for the directional switch. I'd have to open up mine to review it, so in essence it could be stated that the Capri column is just the base core for the Pantera's column which in itself is a unique part.

It seems to me that the most critical items on it are the ignition switch mounting with the mechanical lockout and the steering wheel splined mounting so "your" steering wheel will fit.

The shipping from the UK to the US costs more then the columns themselves at the moment.
