In Denmark in the 70’s when I was a teenager, a 1.3L 4 cyl car was normal family transportation. A 1.6L 4 cyl was a sporty car. V8s were for the filthy rich. And we didn’t have many rich people, and most were deliberately quite low key. One guy broke the mold, an entrepreneur that became very rich, and was constantly in the press showing off his houses, his cars, his women and his parties. Very controversial back then.

I remember drooling over his cars (and women Razzer) as a teenager, he was mostly filmed driving his Lincoln, but had a few Mercedes and other US cars as well. But I never saw he had a Pantera, see picture. I think it’s good to know that a guy like that with money to burn, chose a Pantera as his sports car.

It looks a bit modified, which puzzles me. I would guess that neither the logo, the stripe or the mirror was original, does anyone know? I know most of my Danish Pantera friends read this forum, does anybody know where that Pantera is today?
