Does anyone have photos of a 72 Pantera refinished in original bronze. Looking for photos of a high quality, fresh paint job; I already have pictures of an aged paint job. Thanks, Jeff

Bronze was not listed for '72, it's really a '71 color, but that doesn't mean the car couldn't have been first registered in '72.
Here's a link to one for sale in AZ, reputed to be original color. I have seen photos of the engine hatch cover removed on this car and it is that color throughout.
The first owner of '72 Pantera #4126 saved every piece of paperwork associated with the car, to include the window sticker which shows the original color to be bronze. It was purchased from Rush Motor Sales, Columbus, Ohio, in November 1972.
Bronze paint was offered in 71-72.i almost bought my first pantera in the bronze color but instead got white. back in those days it was a beautiful color.. just my 2 cents worth.mike mayberry
As Corey mentioned,I have a 72 Pantera with the factory bronze color, my car had a repaint in 74, with the factory paint codes. The paint matched the original color perfectly. The bronze has quite a bit of metallic in it and looks different depending on the light. I would be happy to send pics., if your interested...Pappy
While I haven't seen any Longchamps in person, all the pictures I've seen of them, none of them show anything close to the bronze color of my car. That however doesn't mean that there isn't an early Longchamp wearing that color. Now finding a matching color code is a different problem...
