Been offered two eight inch and two nine inch campagnolos, the question is. Are these standard size rims??If not will they fit my narrow bodied cat

The most common factory size wheels are 15x7 and 15x8. There are also the very rare and expensive 15x10. All these will fit your narrow body car. I have never seen a 9" campy...
Make sure they aren't just wrongly measured 7's and 8's.

That is surely what has happened.
Wheel width is measured INSIDE the lips, not on their outsides, which adds about one inch.
Thus the 7" and 8" become 8" and 9"
Thanks guys, that sounds the likely outcome , i will investigate 
And to absolutely verify, all Campys were stamped with the size in the rim, visible with tires mounted. Unless someone polished the stamps away or they got filled with paint.
