This can be confusing as there are four rt-angle adapters listed, mated to five different ZFs that use two different sized cables (15.5mm or 20mm nuts) so they will not interchange. Early drives are usually Veglia-Borlotti while later ones are VDO. Either can be 1:1 or 1.11:1 ratio. There are two different speedos possible. The speedo back will be marked either "1610 revs per mile" or "1210 revs per mile." The drive will be stamped with the ratio if not the mfgr. Refer to the TSPs, Article 6 bulletin #1 for clarity on this mess.
Forgot to addess your 2nd question: its easy to change. First, do NOT disturb the 10mm bolt just below the angle drive. To remove the drive, simply unscrew the big gland nut under the drive and it lifts off. The small bolt locks the driveshaft extension; removing the bolt allows the extension to fall into the ghearbox, with disasterous results. Leave the bolt alone.
