Well this was supposed to be a last Sunday fall gathering. Last week the Ottawa guys went to Montreal for lunch. This week the Montreal guys were drove to Ottawa. So I left to meet-up with Mark so we could cruise to the Italian quarter for lunch. I only made it about 5 miles from home when a strange sound appeared in the rear hub. So I called Mark to tell him I could not make it. Waddaya think happened?

You guessed, yes, everyone showed up on the side of the highway to see if they could help. What a sight! 4 exotics and a truck, 5 guys under, over, beside, pushing, pulling a Goose. The Mangusta ultimately whent home on a flatbed diagnosed a rear wheel bearing and lunch was moved to a local eatery. A rotten day turned into a memorable afternoon with good friends, Bonus we even met-up with new friends of the Cobra persuasion.

Thanks, Mark, David, Michel and Andy.

Denis,

You know we would never pass up the opportunity to help out. It wasn't the afternoon we all planned, but it was (for the rest of us anyway) an enjoyable one none the less. Your wheel bearing's timing was almost perfect since the forecast for the end of the week includes snow.

Hopefully by spring you will have all the accumulated little projects addressed and will be back burning up the miles again. I will, of course be happy to be helping out with the wheel bearing so I can learn how to do mine when the time comes.

Mark
Here's David speeding back to Ottawa to deliver Denis's ball bearings, notice his 2 antennas (differs from his one antenna car took in Niagara, summer of 2008)I deliberatly removed the province off of his license plate so whomever tries to steel his GT5, will have to do all provinces, up here, to find it.
