I thought that is what he said too, but I didn't rewind it to double check exactly what he was talking about.
Nice to see car guys speaking so positively about our cars. They are a tad loose with the facts, obviously. The "Ford" that beat Ferrari technically was not designed by Americans, but by the Brits at Lola with assistance from Ford. They were right about the Mangusta being better looking but not as good a car as the Pantera. 
Very enjoyable and a very good re-introduction of the greatest car on earth to his viewership.

Alex is a showboat. He has been in Gumball(S) and Bullruns(S) and has even broken the official Cannonball cross-country record.
His cars are always aoutlandish and burried in technology. It surprised me he even mentions a low tech car as the Pantera conpared to car he owns and uses but then again we only see one 'blurb' of many I think, still very entertaining, hopefully this this will get airplay and create more brand interest

I saw that awhile back. I thought it was bit un-cool that he used a pic of my Pantera and others without giving credits. Most professional shows contact owners and ask permission in writing to use pics or video. It’s not even one of my most liked pics!!
