I bought a used aluminum flywheel from another Pantera owner a while back and I'll be putting it on this weekend. Question is: What are the torque settings on the bolts that attatch it to the crankshaft? As well as the torque settings on the bolts that hold the pressure plate? One of the bolts backed out of the pressure plate when he had it on his car, and want to avoid that happening. He recommended using "loctite" on these bolts. Anyone have any input?

The book says 75 to 85 lbs on the Flywheel to crankshaft.

I didn't see anything about the pressure plate.

45 ~ 50 ft.lbs is the torque spec I have used on these bolts when applied to an Alum. flywheel.

Thanks,.. anyone use loctite on these? My only concern was that it was aluminum as opposed to the stock steel.

Absolutely use loctite. The different expansion properties of steel bolts and aluminum invite loosening. I made this mistake
