That is amazing! The shooter even looked shocked for a second.
Phenomenal. If you're familiar with the TV show "Myth Busters" they tried to split an arrow as was shown in the clip with Kevin Costner as Robin Hood. Even using a mounted arrow "gun" they were unable to split an arrow even from a short distance. There was just too much flex in the arrow as it travelled, which makes this even more incredible. You can see this flex in the slow motion scenes as it leaves the bow.
Mythbusters never asked how the arrow was split or what the arrows in the movie were made of.
They should have looked a little further used two different types of material and it would have split. The movie was not a documentary, and not fact or science based, Myth busters tends to be fact based.

Unbelievable. I replayed the closeup several times. What makes it even more incrediable is how much the arrows flex in flight. Even as the arrow is entering the other the amount of movement would make you think this to be impossible. But there it is....captured on film.
Makes you think though.....what's this guy going to do for an encore?? he more than likely will never shoot an arrow like that again.

This was only one segment of the video. The rest of the video show a bunch of these Korean archers unbelievable shooting abilities such as hitting beans suspended by string at 100'+
