Yes. The line closest to the fire wall is generally the front.
I believe that in most cases the exit port is located closer to the reservoir thus providing less volume of fluid to the rear.
Both lines may also have different size orafices front and back.
Also, on a partitioned reservoir it is more obvious. There is a greater volume of fluid available to the front.
I personally prefer these to the single reservoir.
If you have a brake line failure in the front or rear, only that portion of the master cylinder will pump dry.
One of the aftermarket master cylinders is from a Mustang with dual reservoirs but uses a spacer/adapter. From Hall it is also polished aluminum.
That is the one I have.
