Jack, I've got 4into1 headers with 2" diameter opening at collector, triangular flange. Can I make this work with ANSA GTS mufflers or would I be forced to make a header change?

I might throw 2cents into this one. I just had (literally today) my GTS exhaust installed with a similar setup. 4-into-1 w/2" at the collector, yet the GTS exhaust was 2 1/4.
Now, the bends didnt make a correct fit anyway, so I had a shop remake the pipe section (about 80% of it) in 2 1/4" mandrel bend SS, up to the header flange. The pipe just "flows" around the suspension area and looks excellent. Zero loss of flow with the mandrel pipe.
The sound is great, looks needless to say are outstanding!!!

would you mind sharing what it cost you to have that work done?
Gulp!.........here it comes.... $624
The labor was $65/hr @ 6.5 hrs, SS 2 1/4 mandrel pipe was $190, plus misc hangers and hardware. (They also remade the pipe-end flange at an angle where I could use flat copper gaskets vs donuts)
Here was the plan. I did visit a few local (to me) "M" shops and they wanted $400 for normal pipe with less than great welding skills. (I didnt want bubble-gum beads lets just say). The shop I had it done at (J3 Racing) is a professional Porsche shop, and sure I knew it was gonna be more but, it is a work of art!

The Pro did mine, with all the extras for $200. BUT! It wasn't in Stainless Steel. The tubing was expanded(enlarged from 2 1/4 to 2 1/2) into the flanges, instead of welding on reducers for the collectors. A Very clean look; less ristrictive. Also a piece of art. I supplied the Stainless mufflers from P.I. Motorsports, and reused my chrome tips. It's always the best policy to pay more and hire the Professional to do the job Right, the way YOU want it, the first time!! Marlin.

...And then I sold the old mufflers still on the header pipes, on Ebay. I got some of my money back, $50. Marlin.
MJ........ I gotta agree. It takes someone with a "craft" for welding to do that kind of welding. (versus the typical "yea we can do that" without even giving it a good look).
The SS also has an interesting resonance at idle speed with the sound pulses.
(Heck. I even treated myself to a new Lecarra SportErgo wheel this week to replace my 12"Fat that came with the car)
