I think Marino at Pantera East is around that area. He's got a similar GTS exhaust product avaialable, so you may want to compare notes. Maybe contact some of the other Pantera vendors too for marketing if it's something desirable, we're always on the lookout for new and improved stuff. But what do I know? Lots of questions need to be asked before making a large batch of the stainless exhaust systems. Lots of competing similar versions are already on the market, and they are a lot like wheels, personal preferences dictate decisions. I have the metalic ceramic coated exhaust, so it doesn't discolor and shoots the heat out the tips, instead of transferring heat to metal surfaces. So if I touch it while it's hot it won't burn me so bad....
Thank you VFI for your response. The plan is to market the exhaust to vendors and possibly sell to interested individuals.

I believe Pantera East sold their exhaust for $1,895 but does not currently offer it for sale. My buddy's exhaust will be much less expensive.

He still needs a Pantera owner in South East Florida to help him with some finishing touches since I no longer live in the area.

Attached is a picture of the exhaust and a link to his company.

Thank you.

Sure wish I hadn't clicked on that GTS Exhaust link you provided. Now, I want a set of those pipes too.

Your buddy is a talented guy and is to be encouraged, so I'll pitch in some help, what little I can. The 2005 Pantera Owners Club of America (POCA) Membership Directory 2005 has 36 registered members in Florida. The listings are on pages 35 and 36 for POCA Roster - State List. These names can be cross referenced to the POCA Roster - Alpha List which provides e-mail addresses for most members. Some of the e-mail addresses are not current, but that's OK. In my opinion, it's not out of line to send these guys an e-mail with a link or picture enclosed in the e-mail, like any number of vendors do, like JEGS, etc. I get those e-mails all the time, and read them if I feel like it, or just delete them if I don't. A little work, but, the resourceful businessman is the successful businessman. My interest is survival of the species and it's guys like your buddy who help make that possible. Bravo for that effort.

Another suggestion I have for your buddy is to make these GTS exhaust systems available for Pantera's with the most common engine replacements: 4.6L, 5.0L, and 351 Windsor. This is called adaptation and evolution in the Darwinian theory of survival of the fittest. Keep those new products in the pipeline for us to choose from, I love it!

It's political to say whether to direct market or go thru vendors on a BB sponsored by a Pantera vendor, but I say give Jerry at PI Motorsports a chance if the marketing is done that way. Business survival dictates those marketing decisions. Many guys source out parts themselves, like Coz and me. And many folks just have a Pantera restored completely at a Pantera vendor, and just pick up the car months later. So, now we (Coz, the small contingent of enthusiats who read this BB, and me) know how to find your buddy directly. Seems like your buddy can just do it both ways with the marketing, seems like a talented and resouceful guy. Good thing you're doing for him and all of us, we wish him success.

Oh, and everybody likes low prices, it goes without saying. (So why did I say that? ... Keep your sense of humor and good will amigos, it just enhances good living. Everybody can win together, always.)
I have a suggestion for the latest and greatest stainless steel GTS exhaust system. Metallic ceramic coat the inside only of those beautiful exhaust pipes. Here's the engineering sales pitch. The ceramic coated inside functions as a temperature insulator keeping hot gases from transferring high heat to the metal exterior of the pipes. The metal exterior dissipates heat faster than a ceramic coated exterior surface also. This means the pipes cool down faster but reach higher external temperatures. An engineering trade-off maybe, but it would be beautiful and functional. To accomplish this, sandblast or blast with aluminum oxide balls to prepare the internal surfaces for grip of the coating. Best to do this before assembly so the sandblast media doesn't get clogged in the ANSA mufflers. I'm not sure about the details but the procedure is to paint with the metallic ceramic liquid, or to apply it however they find is best, then cure in an autoclave or high temperature oven. So, it seems like it would be no problem to protect the exterior stainless steel GTS exhaust pipes. Let us know what's up with this product.
That's a great suggestion VFI if it could be done, it would be a real shame to change the looks for those babys.
They are nice !

My buddy has a new stainless steel GTS exhaust replica he would like to sell/market. And he needs a Pantera owner to help him.
You bet VFI.
But everything is still being worked out on the ones we've seen. The passenger side is perfect but the drivers side had a problem with one of the bolt holes lining up. They are working that out now.
If I go that way, I'll let you know. I'll make you a great deal on mine if you want them when the time comes. Mine are the GTS/GT5 type. You've seen and heard them :-)
Saw your making the trip to Vegas POCA caravaning behind the big rig. That should be fun. Watch out for those flying rocks !
I've got the 'Euro' tiny black bumpers on now, the Pre-L style, so your pipes should fit, Coz. Like you, I'm not sure what the next project is just yet though. When I do the air shock, lift kit upgrade, I'll probably have an extra set of coil over gas filled, 12-way adjustable Alden shocks for sale to help off-set that upgade cost. Everybody sort of raises the performance level a little at a time, and finds deals where they can, to have a little more fun doing it, right? And, you're more than welcome to come out and do a tech session whenever you want. All the parts aren't here yet, though. If you did come over, you'd get to see a brake kit going on, and I have new Wilwood Dyna-Lite calipers that haven't been returned yet, which might be easily adapted to your GT5, if you took the brackets to a machine shop to have them make a similar set, with wider caliper mounts for the Dyna-Lites, if you were thinking about that someday. At least shoot some pictures with a small ruler by the parts, to show the machinist later if you wanted to do that project yourself.... Talk with you and everybody later. VFI
