Apparently, I didn't get the new CV adapter bolts torqued enough and lost some grease yesterday. I have a call into Quella but I'm sure everyone is on holiday at the moment.
Any ideas on what type of grease to use on the adapter plate? It's blue or blue-green color.

It doesn't look like you lost enough to worry about.
it's clear, don't worry.
However, it is necessary to dismantle and join the elements to avoid any subsequent leaks.
Ideally, a groove should be provided for a permanent O-ring.
The OEM application for those CV joints (Porsche 930) uses a gasket to seal that joint. In fact, Porsche uses a gasket on both sides of the CV joint. The part number is: 930 332 297 00
@davidnunn, guess I could order a few of those and see if they fit the bolt pattern. If not, I will have use a bead of RTV on the outer edge after replacing the grease.
