There was a guy who hung out here a lot. I think his user name was Panteraseeker, or hunter, and all he wanted was a GT5. He wouldn't consider nothing else. I haven't seen him around for awhile though. Also I think there is another GT5 for sale at PI right now. One is a recreation but the one I am thinking of is a real one too. It is a real rare car. I know a lot of guys here would give their left nut for one. Unfortunatly most owners won't accept that as payment. You should have no trouble selling that at all.
It is the same as the London car. However I did alot of research on the car and the car is really 1982, but it was registered as a 1983. The previous owner did not really know alot about these GT5 . Also I discovered (with the help of an individual who sold these cars brand new in the 80's) that there was a factory engine upgrade option for these cars to boost the rated HP from 310 to 350HP, something to do with the manifold. This car is equipped with that option.
The car also has Tan Interior which is extremely rare for a Pantera GT5 (usually black interior), its looks gorgeous (red/tan). I can say with full confidence that the tan leather on the thick GT% seats looks better then the interior on the Testarossa however not as nice as the Countach.
The car has only 28,800 KM. No mechanical problems, everything original. Car drives perfectly straight (no pulling to one side). Handles very tight. If anybody is looking for one it is definitely a must see.
How much do these GT5 sell for in the States?
