I found the number 03206 on the driver side of this engine block... How do I properly identify this engine?.. Are there other number locations?.. Thanks...

That is a De Tomaso added number, not a Ford identification number.
It is your engine number and in theory should match the small riveted tag found on the driver's side inner wheel house.

OK, well.. good news... The plate and engine match up and I pulled the oil pan and it is indeed the original four bolt ... Thanks for your help Larry!...
Could you tell me if the number you discovered is in the front or rear of the block? Also would you tell me the year of your PANTERA? THANKS JD
