I've logged on to the bulletin board to find there's been a controversy brewing.

I think this would be a good time to express my appreciation to the Adler's and Mark for sponsoring and moderating this bulletin board.

Dave, Linda, Paige, Jerry, Mark,
Thank You! and God Bless.

I was taught that if you had nothing good to say, don't say anything at all.

I too agree, thanks Adlers. It's like when I was in school, go to do some research, see some people you know, talk a little, get some info, give out some info, get some ideas, maybe laugh at something once in a while, maybe tell a true story so others laugh.

I was polishing my ZF for $30. Saw this sandblasting gun and fine grit on sale at Harbor Freight Tools, so cool, I could just polish that baby up right in the engine bay. So I hung blankets and towels around everything that wasn't ZF and put my breathing aparatus on and got the compressor fully pressurized. The first grit was just dust from a sandstorm and it took a week to settle in my garage. The neighbors would be quite upset if I did this job in tha driveway because their cars would get dusted for a week. So the next step was these tiny glass beads. They're like ball bearings on the floor. The really cool thing about these glass beads is they don't leave dust anywhere. So, after a lot of vacuming, I got out the sandblasting residue from everywhere Pantera and garage. S..., still not so highly polished and I don't want to vacuum again, so it's Mother's aluminum polish, buffing, etc. Still not so highly polished is my ZF. Man, I'm truly curious of this polishing witchcraft now. I've seen it in other Panteras, so what's the secret? I would disbelieve any one after my experience, that a ZF could look soooo nice. It's now really clean and pretty nicely polished, but not like that. I also learned, and want to share, that you need eye protection, even if you wear glasses or safety glasses, like for three month's I'd wake up with those tiny glass beads all in the corners of my eyeballs. I took those eye boogers and I could feel those glass beads between my fingers for months. They don't lubricate your eyeball, but they make the floor slippery as snot. Black magic this stuff, and I think it's funny....

Not everyone always gets along, but things get back to normal. They always have. I guess this is the right place to tell a story, in Alejandro's Bar, right? See ya, gotta go. Gotta go stay out of trouble with my Pantera! It could get me in trouble in a lot of ways, if I don't watch it. Cash, crash, jail, smashed fingers, broken bones, and a lot more categories of trouble too. It's just nice not to have industrial grade sandblasting glass beads in one's eye sockets once in a while, or all the other problems which could occur, if one is not doing things carefully.... It's a whole lot of fun! Somebody whisper in my ear about this polishing witchcraft!
I support David and his fine family. They do not have to 'run' this web site, but do it 24/7, AND produce one of the greatest magazines in the automotive world! I also, have learned a lot here, and have had my oportunity to Freely express and contribute what I know,(and learn what I don't know), to help other Pantera owners. To David, Linda and Paige; a big THANK-YOU!! Keep-Up the fine work!
It's easy to forget that these forums don't run by themselves, and those who have been involved know just how much work it is. I join with those above in thanking David, Linda, Paige, Mark and the other moderators for all of their efforts. We do all benefit greatly and I sure hope they continue to find it worthwhile and satisfying to do. Thanks! Smiler

Mike, quick question... based on your snivelous post to the email forum:

"I don't know if you all have been following the ridicules PI BBS thread on
wheels but just when you think that Pantera owners are a great group of
people you find out there are a few that are real low lifes. I don't know
how a classy guy like Dave can put up with some of the people on the BBS.

Mike"

Which one of us are the low lifes? You said "few"..which mean at least three..but it could be more.

Pretty classless, IMO, considering you recommended the entire wheel thread be deleted.
