Are the leg wells different widths on early Pantera's and Late model Pantera's?

I was wondering if there was a difference in the width of the leg wells on early Pnatera's (71-74) and later cars (82-86). My car is a 72 but I have the late model interior in the car. I just ordered a set of floor matts and they are too wide and so won't fit. I had not ever noticed a difference before. Anyone know?

I measured a 73 GTS recently and found both side to be the same width.

I was talking with Jerry At PI Motorsports and he reminded me that I have dropped floor Pans which narrow the floor as it drops down. I never thought of that. Oh well now I know.

The leg wells on my '85 are narrower than they were on my '72, most likely due to the much wider front tires the '85 wears that intrude on the driver/passenger foot area.

Having a late model interior probably won't change much as it is the wheel well itself that is made differently to handle the different rubber.

I have them too and mine don't change the width of the wheel well.
The dropped section is only for the seat, not the foot pedal area too.
